Every Sunday afternoon "Big John’s Beach Party" brings the surf, sand and shag from the Coast to the Capital on 102.9. And downeast, on 102.3! This multi-Cammy award winning DJ is the recipient of being inducted into The Beach Music Hall of Fame, as well as the South Carolina R&B Hall of Fame.

Big John loves Carolina Beach Music and loves to share it! He’s been a Raleigh mainstay for over a quarter-century and a life long resident of Cary, NC.

While the girls were sun bathing, and the guys were grilling out, Big John was getting things nice and HOT spinning those great tunes that have defined Beach Music all through the Carolinas.
